Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Software Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

 

In this role, the ideal candidate will have experience working with Siemens architecture and the application of GEIA-HB-0007-A sustainment industry standards . The candidate shall have a strong understanding of configuration and data management as it applies to diverse contractual deliverables within the programs digital infrastructure derived from MIL-HNDBK-61.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Technical management of subcontractors to achieve yield/volume rates to support mission transition.

• Establish appropriate metrics, system processes, yield results, etc. to support the quantities needed for multiple data transmission from multiple application sources.

• Ensure developers understand priorities, expectations, and deadlines for their assignments.

• Establish and lead a regular rhythm with stakeholders to communicate overall technical approach and methodology for digital delivery, assembly and integration testing.

• Lead and present customer milestone reviews, including suppliers’ briefing, key performance requirements, architecture diagrams, solutions approach, etc.

• Lead supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting manufacturing evaluations, design reviews, documenting results and solution recommendations for Customer.

• Execute supplier’s statement of work, documentation reviews and approval authority with respect to technical delivery.

• Directly supports the Systems Engineering Manager daily

• Assign tasks to developers based on skills, capacity, and priorities.

• Maintain and update detailed task lists, sprint plans, and work breakdown structures in multiple parallel environments.

• Monitor progress against tasks, due dates, and project milestones; proactively rebalance work to keep schedules on track.

• Translate project plans and requirements into clear development tasks and work packages for CPLM and MES projects.

 

Basic Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a relative discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience

• Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

• Must have experience in digital manufacturing processes and supplier requirements with builds of material.

• Experience with Teamcenter and NX (or equivalent PDM/PLM applications)

• Experience with NX and modeling

• CAD experience

• Must have experience leading and forming program execution paths for teams to meet technical performance, cost, and schedule with a program manager.

 

Preferred Qualification

• Experience leading and collaborating with a geographically dispersed cross-discipline team of engineers and industry partners.

• Familiarity with front and backend Siemens product development, testing and methodologies.

• Experience working with SAP and MES functional integration with the programs PLM system.

• CompTIA Security+ certified.

• Experience building executive-level status reports, dashboards and presentations.

• Experience with ServiceNow and SharePoint ticketing is a plus.

• Strong working experience with government personnel and ability to take actions for customer resolution.

• Experience demonstrating complex technical concepts to management, customers, and stakeholders with non- technical background.

• Experience with requirements development, requirements verification, and engineering production activities

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $208,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
