We're looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Avionics Technician, or Aviation Tradesperson to train and mentor the next generation of maintainers supporting the RAAF's C-27J Spartan fleet.
This is a hands-on training role where you'll deliver classroom and practical training, assess students, maintain course material, and work closely with serving RAAF personnel.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Delivering technical training to aircraft maintenance personnel in both classroom and practical environments.
- →Assessing student competency and providing coaching and mentorship.
- →Preparing and delivering training and assessments in accordance with approved training programs.
- →Maintaining and improving courseware, learning materials, and training resources.
- →Supporting students throughout their learning journey and ensuring training outcomes are achieved.
- →Maintaining accurate training records and documentation.
- →Working closely with Defence personnel and industry stakeholders to support operational requirements and training excellence.
- →Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the training environment.

We're looking for an experienced aviation professional who enjoys sharing knowledge and can confidently engage with students and Defence stakeholders.
- Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics).
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance.
- Defence aviation experience.
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
