Founded in 2017, NinjaHoldings works to give everyday Americans better access to financial services than traditional institutions typically provide. Through our CreditNinja and NinjaCard brands, we offer digital banking and lending products designed for consumers often overlooked, paired with incentives that support long-term financial improvement. Our Edge brand extends this expertise to other companies, providing underwriting, fraud detection, and analytics services. Headquartered in Chicago with a distributed global workforce, we are a lean, growing organization committed to advancing consumer finance in the US.

NinjaHoldings is seeking a motivated Content Marketing Intern to support the creation, optimization, and distribution of content across our digital channels within the fast-paced fintech industry. This role is primarily focused on writing and editing informative, engaging content for websites, blogs, email, social media, and other customer-facing communications, with an emphasis on making financial topics clear and accessible to consumers.

The intern will gain hands-on experience with content marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), including strategies for improving content visibility across traditional search engines and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Claude, and Grok. The role will also provide exposure to the unique opportunities and considerations involved in creating accurate, trustworthy, and compliant content within the financial services industry.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer with excellent attention to detail and an interest in fintech, personal finance, digital marketing, SEO, GEO, and social media. Candidates should be eager to learn, comfortable incorporating feedback, and able to adapt their writing for different audiences, channels, and financial topics.

When: May-August 2027

Location: Hybrid, downtown Chicago HQ (in-office 2x/week). Candidates must be local or able to relocate independently - relocation assistance is not provided.

Schedule: 40 hours/week
