Mid/Senior DWH developer (m/f)

Our DWH team is searching for an experienced DWH Developer (mid or senior level) to share our passion for data-driven solutions. Our daily job revolves around developing and maintaining data warehousing applications for Njuškalo, the biggest classifieds platform in Croatia. We manage and optimize systems for transferring and processing terabytes of data, structure and organize them for analytical purposes, and deliver insights through data warehousing solutions and tools.

• →Development, implementation and maintenance of DWH solutions and data architecture.
• →Solving technical problems and changes in existing applications, and identification of opportunities that can improve the efficiency of business processes
• →Database verification and data analysis; provision of business information
• →Maintaining technical procedures and documentation for all applications
• →Participate in the development of a company data strategy
• →Closely work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging consumer data to drive business solutions
• →Staying up to date with the latest data warehouse and data lake trends, techniques, and best practices, determining how to incorporate the most suitable practices

• Several years of experience working in data warehousing and ETL development
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse best practices
• Advanced knowledge of statistics and mathematics
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation
• Experience in data modeling, ETL and data warehouse architecture
• Basic understanding of cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake)
