📍 Stockport, UK

At Novanta, our technologies power some of the world's most advanced medical and industrial systems, from minimally invasive surgical devices to robotics, automation and precision manufacturing equipment.

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer who thrives on solving complex engineering problems, understanding why products fail, and using data to improve performance before failures occur.

This is not a traditional quality role.

This is an opportunity to become the reliability expert within the organisation, driving product validation, advanced failure analysis, reliability modelling and data-driven engineering decisions across the full product lifecycle.

Most reliability roles focus on testing. This role gives you ownership across:

✅ Product reliability strategy

✅ Accelerated life testing

✅ Weibull and life-data analysis

✅ New product introduction programmes

✅ Manufacturing transfers

✅ Root cause investigations

✅ Reliability performance analytics

✅ Influencing future product design

You will work directly with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing and Quality leaders to ensure our products perform reliably in mission-critical customer applications.
