Overview: 

We are seeking a Senior Collections Specialist to join our team in Malta! If you have experience in debt restructuring, insolvency, and handling special cases, this is the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you'll focus on improving our processes, leading the team, and driving key operational changes to streamline debt recovery and restructuring efforts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage complex debt restructuring cases, including insolvency, inheritance, sickness, and other unique situations.
• Lead the development and implementation of efficient, automated processes to improve workflow and enhance the team's productivity.
• Collaborate with external partners, such as lawyers, debt collection agencies, and debt restructuring servicers, to ensure effective debt recovery.
• Organize and manage daily, weekly, and monthly operations, ensuring that tasks are evenly distributed among team members.
• Negotiate and participate actively in settlement discussions with debtors to reach favourable resolutions.
• Continuously assess and propose improvements to collection strategies and processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in debt restructuring, insolvency, and handling special or complex debt cases.
• Strong leadership experience, with a focus on team organization and ensuring efficient operations.
• Solid background in process improvement, particularly in workflow automation and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with internal teams, legal professionals, and external partners effectively.
