Responsibilities

→Provide attentive, engaging, and safe care for a 1-year-old
→Support and help establish the baby's nap routine as it transitions
→Prepare meals and snacks for the baby
→Handle the baby's laundry and keep his clothing organized during nap times
→Take the baby on daily stroller walks and outdoor outings
→Plan age-appropriate play and developmental activities
→Take occasional local outings, such as to the library, in the family's vehicle once trust is established
→Communicate clearly and consistently with the family about the day, routines, and any concerns

Requirements

Proven long-term nanny or childcare work history
Experience caring for infants and toddlers
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Valid driver's license
Comfortable with a cat in the home
Able to work at both the current Ossining home and the South Salem home after the move
Strong, proactive communication skills
Respectful, reliable, and punctual
Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
