News-Press & Gazette Company (NPG) is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who is willing to take on new opportunities. The Infrastructure Engineer will be based at our corporate office in St. Joseph, Missouri, with opportunities for Hybrid - Remote work to support NPG employees.

Responsibilities

→High school diploma or GED
→Valid Missouri driver’s license with an acceptable MVR and adequate insurance, or the ability to obtain one
→Ability to participate in a shared 24x7 on-call rotation
→Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
→Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
→Strong written and verbal communication skills
→2+ years of experience working with Active Directory
→Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
Previous IT Service Desk or Helpdesk experience
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
3+ years of experience working with layer 3 Cisco switches
3+ years of experience administering Windows Server
