Position: MRI Technologist II
Sign on bonus: $10,000
Location: Glenbrook Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Full time
Hours: M-F 11am-7pm, rotating weekends
Required Travel: yes

Responsibilities

→Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
→Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
→Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality
→Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed

→Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
→Certification: CPR required, ARRT- MR or ARMRIT
→License: IEMA (not required)
→Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience required
→Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
