  • Location: Rolling Meadows, IL
  • Full time/Part time: Full Time, 40 hours/week
  • Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)
  • Required Travel: No

Responsibilities

  • →Assists therapist with patient set-up prior to treatment and with equipment removal following treatment.
  • →Provides support and assistance in various patient treatment activities
  • →Communicates treatment effects and changes in patient condition to the therapist
  • →Maintains department equipment, supplies and accessories.
  • →Cleans all equipment, maintains logs and checks equipment condition. Performs inventory control of departmental supplies and equipment.
  • →Performs various clerical tasks which may include: filing medical records and patient documentation, retrieving medical records for HIM/EHS/PFS and copying records for requesting departments.
  • →Copies and faxes documentation to physicians and maintains log book. Prepares folders for therapy staff and envelopes for mailing and departmental correspondence.
  • →Orders and maintains linen supplies, changes linens as needed and removes linen bags at end of day and/or as needed.
  • →Coordinates therapists’ daily caseloads and schedules as appropriate

  • →Education: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school, or the equivalent.
  • →Certification: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
