General Labor - Production

• →Follow all company rules and regulations related to environmental, health, and safety.
• →Safely operate pallet jacks to lift and transfer materials from one place to another.
• →Supply components to hoppers, indexing poles or conveyors.
• →Load parts from the basket to machine conveyor.
• →Remove finished parts from the machines. Inspect as necessary and pack properly.
• →Visually inspect components and parts for defects, sort and disassemble defect parts.

• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to successfully pass safety training.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers.

• Physically move objects safely by using proper lifting techniques.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Bump caps, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas. Hearing protection is encouraged and may be required in specific areas.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts; hazards common to industrial settings; chemicals, vibration, and loud noises.
• Safety shoes, safety glasses, chemical resistant gloves and bump caps for this position must be worn on the production floor. Other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
• Jobs on the production floor require a minimum 40-hour workweek. Overtime may be required.
• The pace of work is steady and fast.
• Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
• This position requires sufficient vision to see details at close range, so the person can pass an inspection test of finished parts and components.
