POSITION SUMMARY
The Environmental Services Associate is responsible for providing cleaning, sanitation, and environmental services that promote safe, healthy, and welcoming facilities throughout Native Village of Eyak operations. This position performs routine, specialty, and deep-cleaning duties in clinical, administrative, residential, community, and public-use environments while adhering to established health, infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards.
The Environmental Services Associate plays a vital role in supporting the well-being of patients, Tribal members, residents, staff, and visitors by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and appearance across multiple work sites and facilities.
Requirements
~1 min read- Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and disinfection practices, including healthcare environmental services standards.
- Understand the safe use of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- No formal education required; relevant experience or training is a plus.
- Previous cleaning experience in healthcare environment preferred.
- Required: Possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of an insurable driving record in accordance with the company’s auto insurance policy requirements.
- Preferred: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
