In the context of IT projects with high regulatory stakes and tight deadlines, we are looking for a senior IT analyst capable of designing, modeling and specifying complex systems, with a high level of requirements on the quality of the deliverables.

 

The role is not limited to gathering business requirements. The expected analyst is responsible for the functional consistency of solutions and the production of specifications that are accurate and actionable enough to allow development and test teams to work autonomously.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ability to understand and structure complex business processes.

  • Ability to translate regulatory texts into explicit, consistent and actionable business rules.

 

  • Mastery of BPMN process modeling.

  • Use of modeling as a tool for design, clarification, and arbitration, not just documentation.

 

  • Ability to define a coherent functional architecture.

 

Identification and structuring of use cases:

  • Definition of a Use Case Model.

  • Modeling via Use Case Diagrams.

  • Identification of interactions between use cases.

  • Ability to set clear boundaries between functional responsibilities.

 

  • Ability to describe use cases exhaustively.

 

Ability to model:

  • Ability to use sequence diagrams to describe the orchestration of calls between REST components and endpoints.

  • Explain synchronous and asynchronous interactions, clarify responsibilities and the order of processing.

  •  

    Ability to use state diagrams to:

    • Model the life cycles of key entities, define states, transitions, trigger events, and associated rules.

    • Identify invalid states and error cases.

     

    Ability to model process implementation via REST API:

    • Clear definition of REST interfaces.

    • Ability to describe the detailed operation of an endpoint.

     

    Nice to Have

    • Good understanding of the European VAT OSS legislation.

    • Experience on systems subject to strong regulatory constraints (taxation, finance, compliance).

    • Ability to test and validate REST services (e.g. via Postman, including via scripts).

    • Ability to identify and anticipate cross-functional impacts (data, integration, exploitation).

    • Experience working in multi-stakeholder and multi-vendor environments.

    • Sensitivity to quality, functional debt and maintainability issues of systems.
