Working within the strategy, messaging and priorities set by the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications (or equivalent), you will support the day-to-day execution and coordination of campaign activities across digital channels. This includes building and sending EDMs, updating campaign webpages, scheduling social media content, and producing campaign assets to ensure communications are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with brand guidelines.
You will also assist with coordinating campaign inputs, managing content schedules, and ensuring campaign materials are tested and functioning across platforms such as Mailchimp, Funraisin, Squarespace, Shopify, and other digital tools used by the organisation.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and send EDMs using existing templates.
- Draft campaign communications from briefs (e.g. reminders, follow-ups, FAQs).
- Build and format newsletters using Mailchimp templates and provided content.
- Draft article summaries or supporting copy for newsletters when required.
- Upload and update campaign landing pages and website content across platforms such as Squarespace, Shopify and Funraisin.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on campaign pages, links, forms and communications before publishing.
- Build, schedule and publish social media content across organisational channels using approved templates and messaging.
- Adapt approved campaign messaging for social media formats while maintaining brand tone and positioning.
- Monitor scheduled posts and flag any publishing issues or errors.
- Create and adapt campaign and communications assets using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Resize and format design assets using established templates to maintain brand consistency.
- Schedule communications and campaign content across agreed channels.
- Coordinate inputs, approvals and assets from internal staff, contractors and partners.
- Track campaign tasks and deadlines to ensure activities progress smoothly.
- Flag risks, gaps or delays to the Director or relevant manager when required.
- Maintain organised file management and version control across campaign materials.
- Follow established templates, processes and brand guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
During peak campaign periods, particularly in the lead-up to major fundraising campaigns or events, the role may prioritise the preparation and delivery of campaign communications, including supporter EDMs, website updates, campaign assets and coordination of campaign inputs across teams and partners.
Requirements
~1 min read- At least 3-4 years of experience in digital marketing, campaign coordination, communications, or a similar role.
- Proficient in Canva and has working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience building EDMs, newsletters and webpages using templates.
- Experience updating website content via CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools and social media platforms such as Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn.
- Experience with platforms such as Mailchimp, Funraisin, Squarespace or Shopify is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow briefs and brand guidelines accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills.
- A proactive, reliable and detail-oriented working style.
- Experience working in not-for-profit, marketing or fundraising environments will be highly regarded.
