~1 min readThe CLSD Grant Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) Office. This role ensures the efficient execution of grant-related activities by managing documentation, coordinating travel, maintaining accurate data, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can prioritize multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, grant-funded environment.

- Document Management: Create, format, proofread, and edit documents, reports, and official correspondence. Organize and maintain both physical and digital files for easy retrieval and reference.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange travel accommodations, including flights, lodging, and transportation for CLSD team members. Prepare and process travel authorizations and reimbursement claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter and update program-related data into agency systems and maintain organized records to ensure data integrity and accessibility; Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Collaborative Support: Provide general administrative support for CLSD staff and assist with special projects as assigned. Work collaboratively with other administrative personnel and divisions to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing communications such as emails, phone calls, and letters. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including assistance with the Grants Management System (GMS).
- Knowledge & Expertise: Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes. Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude. Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field;
- Four (4) years of clerical or office experience;
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of relevant experience for each year of the required education.
- Experience with or knowledge of state and federal grant compliance and reporting processes.
- Interest in or commitment to literacy initiatives and supporting positive student outcomes.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future;
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check;
- Must possess a valid driver’s license from a U.S. state or territory to perform necessary job-related travel.
- Less than 10% in-state/out-of-state travel may be required.
