Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Regional Director, Client Operations Group will lead a team within the COG organization and partner closely with cross-functional groups including Product Management, Outside Sales, Branch General Managers, and Engineering to deliver on customer requests and commitments.
This role is responsible for driving process development, continuous improvement, training, and key business performance indicators (KPIs), while modeling a hands-on, “lead from the front” leadership style.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Evaluate workflows across estimating, order entry, production, and shipping to identify opportunities for efficiency and improved yield. Implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and lead times.
- →Lead the estimating team to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for standard and custom storefronts, railings, and glass entrances. Ensure follow-up on high-value quotes to improve conversion rates.
- →Oversee order processing for complex projects, ensuring speed and accuracy. Foster a customer-first culture that supports inquiries, technical needs, and issue resolution while reinforcing CRL’s reputation for reliable service.
- →Lead the project team serving as liaison between customers, sales, and manufacturing. Align schedules, adapt to changing site conditions, and resolve project bottlenecks.
- →Coach, develop, and lead managers and estimators to drive accountability, consistency, and high performance.
- →Champion and model CRL’s mission, vision, and values in daily leadership and decision-making.
- 10–15+ years of experience in construction, building materials, or technical sales environments
- Proven success leading leaders (managing managers) in a performance-driven organization
- Strong operational and analytical mindset with experience using KPIs to drive decision-making and outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale teams, processes, and systems in complex, cross-functional environments
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally
- Clear and effective communicator with strong presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- High level of business acumen with the ability to connect strategy to execution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and ERP systems (Tandem preferred)
