MarketingMarketing Manager

With millions of diners, 65K+ restaurant partners and 25+ years of experience, OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), is an industry leader with a passion for helping restaurants thrive. Our world-class technology empowers restaurants to focus on what matters most – their team, their guests, and their bottom line – while enabling diners to discover and book the perfect restaurant for every occasion.

Every employee at OpenTable has a tangible impact on what we do and how we do it. You’ll also be part of a global team and its portfolio of metasearch brands. Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture.

We're looking for a brand marketer who's equally obsessed with telling impactful stories and driving tangible business outcomes to join us on the International Marketing team. You'll lead international brand campaigns that build awareness and affinity for OpenTable across multiple markets, always measuring what's working and pushing to make it work harder.

You'll own the full campaign lifecycle: brief to launch to post-mortem, iteration and optimisation. You'll work closely with external agencies, in-house creative teams, channel owners, and local market leads to develop campaigns that feel right for each market while staying true to the overall brand strategy, testing, learning, and iterating rather than waiting for perfection.

You'll be the connective tissue between channel owners, market owners, and creatives, genuinely bilingual between creative and commercial. You can brief designers with clarity, give feedback with a sharp creative eye, and switch seamlessly into requirements mode with local marketing managers. You’re the person who knows how to get what they need from any room they walk into.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of international brand campaigns end-to-end: from strategic brief through launch, optimisation, and retrospective, across multiple markets simultaneously.

  • Develop integrated campaign plans in partnership with paid, organic, CRM, and social channel owners; you won't run every channel, but you'll understand how they connect.

  • Plan and execute brand media campaigns across upper-funnel channels including connected TV, out-of-home, and digital; you understand how brand media works and how to measure its impact.

  • Write sharp creative briefs and give clear, actionable feedback to designers and creative partners that moves work forward.

  • Localise campaign strategy and messaging for different markets: understand what resonates where, and adapt accordingly without losing brand coherence.

  • Create campaign landing pages and in-product content using internal tools; you'd rather build something yourself than wait.

  • Use performance data to iterate: test a hypothesis, read the result, adjust, repeat.

  • Identify new brand and growth opportunities: new audience segments, new campaign mechanics, new channels that extend beyond the existing playbook.

  • You have a strong brand background: you've built or shaped campaigns that drove awareness and conversions, and you understand the long game.

  • You have hands-on experience with brand media buying: you've planned or managed campaigns across connected TV, out-of-home, or similar upper-funnel channels, and you know how to evaluate performance beyond last-click metrics.

  • You're comfortable with numbers: you know how to pull data, read a performance dashboard, identify what's underperforming, and know what to do about it.

  • You've worked across multiple markets or regions: you understand that localisation is more than translation, and you know how to balance global consistency with local relevance.

  • You know how to work with designers: you write briefs that inspire good work, and give feedback that sharpens it.

  • You're a generalist marketer with working knowledge across paid, organic, CRM, content, and social: not an expert in each, but fluent enough to integrate them.

  • You move at speed: you'd rather launch a good version and iterate than wait for perfect.

  • You're a clear communicator who can brief a designer, present to a senior leader, and align with a local marketing manager on the same day.

  • 6+ years in brand or integrated marketing, ideally in-house at a consumer brand or fast-growing startup.

  • Native English fluency; German/French/Italian/Spanish/Traditional Chinese is a plus .

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or a related field.

  • You care as much about how a campaign performs as how it looks.

  • You get energised by a blank brief.

  • You default to: 'I'll figure it out'.

  • You enjoy working with both creative teams and data-driven channel owners.

  • You love working across cultures and markets.

  • You love restaurants and dining culture.

At OpenTable, we pride ourselves on fostering a global and dynamic work environment. As a team member with us, you will benefit from a schedule tailored to accommodate a global workforce operating across multiple time zones. While the majority of your responsibilities may align with conventional business hours, there will be instances where you are expected to manage communications - via calls, Slack messages, or emails - outside of regular working hours to effectively collaborate with international colleagues, respond to restaurant partners, and/or address urgent matters. OpenTable will always abide by and consider local laws and regulations.

We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive. We know the best ideas come when we bring different voices to the table, so we're building a team as dynamic as the diners and restaurants we serve—and fostering a culture where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.

If you need accommodations during the application or interview process, or on the job, we’re here to support you. Please reach out to your recruiter to request any accommodations.
