The hotel is dedicated to delivering outstanding service and creating memorable stays for both leisure and business travellers.
The Guest Service Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to guests throughout their stay. Acting as the first point of contact, the successful candidate will handle check-ins and check-outs, respond to guest enquiries, and ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Welcome guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
- →Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- →Handle reservations, room allocations, and guest requests.
- →Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- →Respond promptly to guest enquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- →Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
- →Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- →Manage telephone calls, emails, and online guest communications.
- →Upsell hotel services and promote available facilities whenever possible.
- →Ensure the reception area is maintained to the highest standards of presentation.
- →Follow hotel procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
~1 min read- Previous experience in a Front Office, Reception, or Customer Service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Good computer literacy and experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera is considered an advantage.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A positive attitude and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
