Head of Spa

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Spa to provide strategic leadership and oversee the performance and development of its spa operations.

This is a senior position suited to a commercially minded spa professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• →Provide strategic direction and leadership across all spa operations.
• →Drive revenue growth and profitability through pricing, promotions, service development, and commercial initiatives.
• →Ensure exceptional guest experiences and consistently high service standards.
• →Lead, mentor, and develop Spa Managers and their teams.
• →Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
• →Monitor key performance indicators, guest feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• →Develop and implement standard operating procedures and ensure consistency across all locations.
• →Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, packages, and seasonal offers.
• →Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners.
• →Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• →Stay updated with wellness trends, industry developments, and competitor activity.
• →Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

• Currently residing in Malta.
• Minimum five years of experience in Spa Management, including at least two years in a senior or multi-site role.
• Previous experience as a Head of Spa, Spa Director, Senior Spa Manager, or similar position.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding, with a proven ability to drive revenue and profitability.
• In-depth knowledge of spa, wellness, and beauty operations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Fluent English; additional languages are considered an asset.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
