Your Golf Travel is the worlds largest golf travel specialist providing golf breaks and holidays across more than 3,000 locations in 22 countries, including the UK, Ireland, Europe, and beyond. Since our launch in 2004, we have seen swift expansion and now boast a team of over 180 professionals based in our offices in London, Brighton, St Andrews, and Killarney. Throughout this journey, we have established incredible relationships with our suppliers and customers, created an extensive array of exceptional travel products and experiences, garnered numerous awards... and this is only the beginning!

Responsibilities
~3 min readWe’re looking for a Creative Lead to head our creative studio: a strong mid-weight designer to elevate the creative output of Your Golf Travel and setting a new standard for design, storytelling, and brand consistency across every touchpoint.
You’ll lead a small but high-impact in-house team (Designer + Senior Promotional Content Producer), while also leveraging some (limited) freelancers and external partners to deliver best-in-class creative.
This role is about more than delivery: it’s about raising the bar. Pushing boundaries. Creating work that cuts through. And ensuring our new brand guidelines are not just followed, but brought to life in a way that drives engagement, emotion, and commercial impact.
Creative Leadership & Brand Excellence

Own and elevate the visual and creative direction of the brand across all channels

Ensure consistent, high-quality application of brand guidelines across all assets
- →
Translate brand strategy and specific briefs into standout creative executions that drive engagement and performance
- →
Act as the guardian of creative quality, challenging briefs and outputs to reach a higher standard
- →
Push the team (and stakeholders) beyond “safe” to deliver distinctive, memorable work
- →
Ensure the brief puts customer insight/research/data at the heart of all briefs where possible
Creative Delivery & Production
- →
Oversee the end-to-end creative process from briefing through to final execution
- →
Lead and refine the creative briefing process, ensuring clarity, ambition, and effectiveness

Creation of templates that enable other teams to self-serve or drive efficiency where it makes sense
- →
Ensure creative is delivered within expected timelines, on brand, and at the highest possible standard
Content & Production Management
- →
Oversee video and photography production to ensure brand consistency aligned with guidelines, but also to push boundaries of effectiveness.

Consider building and manage a trusted network of external creative partners (videographers, photographers, editors, motion designers) to use as needed. Ensure they are briefed, commissioned, and guided effectively.

Ensure all content produced is platform-optimised and aligned to channel best practice (social, paid, web, CRM)
Team Leadership & Development

Line manage, develop and motivate a Designer and Senior Content Producer (with motion/video capability)

Set clear creative standards and provide hands-on feedback and direction

Drive the team’s learning and development, including:

Creative inspiration and trend awareness

Software and tool advancement (e.g. eg AI tools)

Equipment and production capability upgrades

Foster a culture of craft, curiosity, and continuous improvement
Innovation & Creative Progression

Stay ahead of trends in design, video, social content, and emerging formats

Introduce new ways of working, tools, and formats that improve output and efficiency

Champion test-and-learn creativity, using performance insights to evolve and optimise
Play a key role in embedding and evolving new brand guidelines across the business
Experience:
Proven experience in a Creative Lead, Art Director, Mid-weight designer role
Demonstrate a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, commercially effective creative work
Experience managing multi-channel campaigns esp digital first (digital, social, CRM, web, paid media)
Experience overseeing photography production and video edits
Previous line management in design
Skills:
Essential
Exceptional design eye and attention to detail
Strong understanding of brand building vs performance creative
Ability to push creative boundaries while staying commercially grounded
Confident stakeholder management: able to challenge and influence
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Passion for craft, storytelling, and creating work that stands out
Experience in travel, sport, or lifestyle brands
Some familiarity with AI creative tools (basic at least)
Desirable
Motion/video editing experience
