Regression Sr.Engineer/ Test Lead / Manager – 2G/4G/5G Radio Products

We are looking for a senior technical leader to manage and guide the Regression team responsible for validating 2G, 4G and 5G (including O-RAN) radio products. The role combines hands-on RF and protocol validation expertise, automation leadership, and team mentoring. You will translate the product roadmap into test scenarios, automate them at scale, and ensure radio products meet quality, conformance, and schedule commitments.

• Lead and mentor the Regression team technically, guiding engineers on test design, debugging, and automation practices.
• Study the product roadmap, derive functional and system-level scenarios, and convert them into automated test cases.
• Develop and own complex test plans and strategies aligned with project scope and timelines; track execution and report status to stakeholders.
• Drive a strong sense of urgency and accountability to meet product delivery needs on time.

• Design, implement and maintain automation scripts for functional, regression and performance testing.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using industry best practices and tools such as Unittest and Pytest.
• Automate Radio Conformance Test (RCT) and end-to-end (E2E) scenarios.
• Develop instrument drivers, validation frameworks and measurement applications in Python (and MATLAB) to improve coverage, repeatability and productivity.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and use Kubernetes-based environments for scalable test execution.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to improve test productivity, such as test generation, log analysis, failure triage, anomaly detection and coverage optimization.

• Design, implement and execute 3GPP Radio Conformance Testing (RCT) methodologies for next-generation RF SoC and radio platforms, covering test development, automation, data analysis and debug.
• Perform hands-on characterization of RF subsystems and signal chains, including PA, LNA, filters, CFR and DPD algorithms across multiple technologies and carrier configurations.
• Develop custom measurement techniques and validation workflows for key metrics: EVM, ACLR, receiver sensitivity, noise figure, spectral emissions and transmitter linearity.
• Use and automate Keysight or Rohde & Schwarz equipment, including signal generators and signal/spectrum analyzers.
• Evaluate, integrate and optimize advanced RF test equipment and commercial test solutions to improve accuracy and throughput.

• Investigate and root-cause RF performance issues through lab measurements, statistical analysis, and cross-functional debugging with hardware, firmware and software teams.
• Drive silicon bring-up and system-level validation, identify performance gaps, and give actionable recommendations to design teams.
• Analyze large RF datasets to identify trends, anomalies and performance limits, and translate them into clear technical insights and design guidance.

• 18+ years of relevant experience in wireless/radio validation.
• Has technically led and/or mentored a team of 6+ engineers.
• Has developed a complex test plan and managed its end-to-end execution.

• Strong coding skills in Python and shell scripting; working knowledge of C/C++ for developing test cases and scripts.
• Solid understanding of cellular wireless protocols (MAC/PHY), especially O-RAN, LTE or 5G.
• Knowledge of O-RAN, 5G or 4G technology.
• Expertise in using and automating Keysight or R&S RF equipment (signal generators, analyzers).
• Experience automating RCT and E2E scenarios.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized test environments.
• Practical experience using AI in engineering and testing workflows (a must-have).

• Able to work productively and independently.
• Strong team player with ownership and urgency.
• Clear communicator with the ability to report technical findings to both engineering and management audiences.

• MATLAB experience for measurement and analysis.
• Exposure to silicon bring-up and RF SoC validation.
• Experience with certification and manufacturing test readiness.
• Background in statistical analysis of large RF datasets.
