Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Drainage Engineering Intern to join our Sandy Springs team next spring and/or summer 2027! In this role you will get to expand your engineering technical skills and knowledge with direct mentorship and collaboration within a world-class team of Infrastructure design experts.

Responsibilities

→Working under the supervision of a degreed engineer, perform spread calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, drainage tabulation analysis, and drainage map delineation to create plans for GDOT and other clients
→Assisting engineers with technical tasks, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
→Assisting with project support tasks, including design, scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
→Conducting research to support engineering projects and staying updated on industry trends and technologies.

Must be enrolled in a Civil or Environmental Engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university
3.0 GPA or higher

Proficient in CAD software such as MicroStation
Prior related coursework such as hydrology and fluid mechanics
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools including word and excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14
