Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mobility Project Controls & Reporting Associate Director

to join our team!


Project Controls & Reporting Associate Director
will provide strategic leadership and oversight of project controls, planning, schedule assurance, business intelligence, and reporting activities for large and complex construction projects during the construction phase.


The role will ensure that project performance is effectively planned, monitored, analyzed, and reported in accordance with approved schedules, budgets, milestones, contractual requirements, and project objectives. The Associate Director will coordinate with project directors, planning and project-controls teams, contractors, consultants, commercial and cost teams, construction managers, and client representatives.


Responsibilities

  • →Lead project controls, planning, reporting, and performance-management activities.
  • →Oversee the development and management of the master program schedule.
  • →Ensure schedule quality, logic, progress measurement, critical-path analysis, and baseline control.
  • →Monitor planned versus actual progress, milestones, delays, risks, and performance trends.
  • →Review contractor and consultant schedules, progress updates, recovery plans, and performance reports.
  • →Provide early warnings and recommendations regarding schedule, cost, risk, and delivery issues.
  • →Oversee the preparation of weekly, monthly, and executive progress reports.
  • →Develop business-intelligence dashboards, performance indicators, trend reports, and management presentations.
  • →Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of project data and reports.
  • →Integrate information from schedule, cost, risk, change, procurement, commercial, quality, and construction teams.
  • →Review the impact of changes, variations, design development, procurement delays, and construction issues.
  • →Oversee delay analysis, time-impact assessments, recovery plans, and mitigation strategies.
  • →Monitor contractor and consultant performance against approved programs and contractual obligations.
  • →Lead project performance-review meetings and present key issues to senior management.
  • →Maintain project-control systems, dashboards, registers, and reporting procedures.
  • →Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to planning, reporting, and project-controls teams.
  • →Support management decision-making through accurate analysis, forecasting, and performance recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction.
  • Proven experience working on large and complex construction projects during the construction phase.
  • Strong experience in project controls, planning, schedule assurance, progress reporting, and program management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and project-management information systems.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business-intelligence and reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of cost control, risk management, change management, delay analysis, and commercial reporting.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.

The Project Controls & Reporting Associate Director will provide senior leadership for project controls, planning, business intelligence, and reporting. The role will ensure that project performance, risks, delays, changes, costs, and key delivery issues are accurately monitored and reported, enabling senior management to make informed decisions and achieve successful project delivery.
