About the Role

Identify and interpret insights from various data sources and communicate findings to management. Assist in underwriting strategy by optimizing risk-based profit & loss modeling, within proprietary lending platform. Includes developing reports based on performance data and helping to identify patterns of behavior.

Responsibilities

→Mines and analyzes large datasets utilizing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
→Develops insights from historical loan performance data, identify swap-in opportunities to underwrite new customer populations, and develop credit solutions for customer base using various analytical techniques.
→Developing and refining reports working with data analytics team, underwriting, and operations team.
→Leverages custom score models for underwriting, pricing, and profitability.
→Forecasts performance and track actual performance against lending target.
→Collaborates with vendors, data science, and technology teams to ensure new strategies and models are implemented accurately and as designed.
→Creates/maintains Procedure and Program documentation.
→Conducts other ad hoc analyses as required to support team goals.
→Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
Typically, 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAS, and SQL.

Experience with Python, Snowflake, Amazon S3, and SageMaker.

Salary range: $86,000 – $145,000
