YOUR DAY

As a Barber Instructor, you will step into a lively and inspiring classroom, ready to educate, motivate, mentor, and coach future professionals in both technical barbering and guest service skills. You will create extraordinary learning experiences, whether you are demonstrating cutting-edge techniques, guiding students through hands-on practice, or supporting their personal and professional growth. As a Barber Instructor, you will embody the positive culture of Paul Mitchell The School, working alongside enthusiastic colleagues, participating in team trainings, and taking part in engaging activities like student clubs, fashion shows, and community events. Your expertise, communication, and passion will help foster the next wave of industry leaders.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Schedule: This is a full-time position at our Pasadena, CA campus.

Here's what we're looking for in our ideal candidate:

• 3+ years of experience in the barbering field
• Current California Barbering License
• Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills
• Skills in supervision, teamwork, and documentation
• Passion for the beauty industry
• Honesty and professionalism
• Knowledge of Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems (preferred)
• Experience instructing at a barber school (preferred)
