Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Packaging Corporation of America Plant Address City, State     Pay and Benefits Pay Range = $28.14-$33.49 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience. Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools. PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends PCA provides Uniforms for Maintenance Technicians   Responsibilities This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Farmville, NC. This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment. Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment. All Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft and training is provided to develop these skills.   Basic Qualifications 2+ Years’ experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus. The production schedule is 3 shifts. Maintenance Technicians are placed on shifts according to plant needs and seniority.  We currently have openings on all 3 shifts.  Be Authorized to work in the US.
