A single conversation can change someone’s path. As an Admissions Call Specialist at Perimeter Behavioral Health of Springfield, you will be a trusted first point of contact for patients and families seeking mental or behavioral health support. You will listen with empathy, conduct thoughtful intake assessments, and help connect each caller with the right level of care.

Our services include inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, and outpatient counseling and therapies—all focused on helping patients overcome mental health and behavioral challenges.

📞 Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to determine appropriate levels of care
💬 Respond to incoming inquiry calls with empathy and professionalism
🔎 Perform initial screenings to evaluate eligibility for services
🧠 Assess psychosocial and emotional status, particularly for children and adolescents
🛡 Coordinate with insurance providers and internal teams to support verification
🤝 Facilitate communication among clinical staff, the nursing team, and business development
📍 Track patient placement and follow up with referral sources
📝 Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and assessments
📣 Provide clear written and verbal communication to all stakeholders

Requirements

🎓 Preferred bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a related field
💬 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
🔒 Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
📋 Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

🧠 Experience in behavioral health assessment and/or treatment
🏥 At least one year of experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting
💳 Background in insurance verification and medical billing
⚕ Knowledge of healthcare systems and insurance processes

❤️ CPR certification, obtained within 30 days of employment
🛡 Handle with Care or Crisis Prevention Intervention certification, obtained within 30 days of employment
📍 Ability to work on-site in Springfield, MO 65803

🌆 Full-time: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
☀ PRN: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
