Are you an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive environment? Join our team at Killarney Pharmacy, a busy, rural pharmacy located in the heart of southern Manitoba.

About Us:

Killarney Pharmacy is a dynamic and welcoming workplace, where you’ll be part of a collaborative team including: three pharmacy assistants and four pharmacists. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care to our community and fostering a positive team culture.

Perform technical components of dispensing, including computer entry, medication orders, and filling prescriptions.

Ensure completeness of information on prescriptions (e.g., allergies, address, insurance details).

Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, and mix medications.

Provide immediate service to customers at the prescription counter.

Refer medical questions to the pharmacist as needed.

Maintain proper storage and rotation of medications.

Enter patient information and prescriptions into computer systems.

Place and receive orders for stock to maintain inventory.

Accept payment for prescriptions and reconcile third-party insurance claims.

Prepare and maintain pharmacy records.

Working knowledge of Kroll pharmacy software is required.

Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment.
