Job Description
The Financial Service Account Manager at ISU Insurance Services of Colorado is responsible for the delivery of services, with an emphasis on fully insured and self-funded medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, STD, and LTC insurance. They will have daily interaction with clients, insurance carriers, and fellow employees while conducting specific service and marketing activities.
Responsibilities
The Financial Service Account Manager at ISU Insurance Services of Colorado is responsible for the delivery of services, with an emphasis on fully insured and self-funded medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, STD, and LTC insurance. They will have daily interaction with clients, insurance carriers, and fellow employees while conducting specific service and marketing activities.
Responsibilities
- Handling policy administration with duties ranging from evaluation of renewals, preparing proposals, and responding to client requests.
- Set up and administer our online benefits portal (EASE/Navigator) for group clients.
- Review contracts and coverages and complete agency invoicing.
- Collaborate with Producers to manage expiration process (marketing through policy delivery).
- Coordinate requests for additional information between the client and the Carriers.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of markets and company specific products.
- Documenting all tasks, requests, and emails into agency management system (AMS360).
- Organize and prioritize work, tracking deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills
- Broad knowledge of benefit products and services.
- Strong written, verbal, and active listening communication skills.
- Proficient in organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Experienced computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, AMS360 or other Agency Management Systems
- Demonstrated self-starter who can work independently, possesses good common sense, aptitude for numbers and data analysis, and takes personal accountability for outcomes.
- Operate within specific company guidelines and delegate work as needed.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of related experience and/or training in the insurance industry.
- Colorado Life & Health License is preferred. CEBS or GBDS designations are a plus.
