Forklift Operator & Driver COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client is an established South African property company specialising in the development, leasing and management of commercial and industrial real estate. Ethics, customer service and teamwork are central to its operations. ROLE OVERVIEW Our client is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator & Driver for a full-time position. The successful candidate will handle the safe movement, storage and dispatch of stock, operate a forklift and assist with driving duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Follow safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment. Receive stock from suppliers and verify quantities and condition. Offload incoming vehicles and stack materials and palletised stock in designated warehouse areas. Locate and move stock onto pallets or into crates for storage or dispatch. Accurately and efficiently dispatch stock to customers. Load materials and merchandise into trucks and containers. Identify and report damaged stock, shortages and quality concerns. Transport raw materials to production workstations. Conduct routine forklift inspections, report repair needs and carry out maintenance within the scope of the role. Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs. Assist with stock security, regular stock counts and variance checks. Maintain a safe, clean and orderly working environment. Share practical knowledge with students and trainees. Assist with driving duties and carry out other reasonable tasks within the scope of the role. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 or a relevant certificate or qualification. Experience in a similar role. Valid Code 8 driver’s licence. Valid forklift licence.
