Accounting Associate

Candidates should have two to five years of related experience in a credit union or similar financial environment, a fundamental understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. · High School diploma or equivalent

· Associate degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred

· A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature.

· Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

· Minimum 2 - 5 years of similar or related experience

· Ability to analyze financial data

· Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

· Knowledge of Oracle Accounting Platform preferred

· Superior organizational, problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Results oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Strong teamwork and collaboration skills 

· Ability to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.

· Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
