We provide a comprehensive menu of services to plan, create, develop and manage an inviting, customized, and economically self-sustaining fitness and wellness center.   The Accounting & Finance Manager will have a key leadership role on our Corporate Accounting team.  This will be a hands-on supervisory position of individuals performing AR, AP and GL duties.  In addition, this individual will supervise the month end and year end close process.  Reporting and analytical duties will also be an essential part of the role.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1.    Supervise accounting team responsible for billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries and reconciliations. 2.    Participate in and help lead month and year end close and review process. 3.    Prepare monthly financial reporting and various analyses.4.    Contribute toward year-end audits – prepare workpapers, etc.5.    Various project work, including key liaison for our financial systems with IT, consultants and outside vendors. Qualifications:   •    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.•    Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.•    Demonstrated experience supervising and developing accounting team members.•    Financial reporting and analytical skills and experience.•    Experience with audits and audit workpaper preparation.•    Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial/general ledger system (SAGE ERP or similar) required. •    Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, efficiency and effectiveness.•    Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of organizational skill and efficiency. •    Strong communication skills and ability to work with co-workers in a positive, service-based manner.  •    Exhibits and is committed to our core values and beliefs – integrity, excellence, humanity, passion, creativity, humility.
