Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and coordinate our growing skid and e-house integration operations. This is a key position with the opportunity to establish the production processes, scheduling methods, and best practices that will support our growth. Our operation focuses on equipment integration We receive equipment, mount and integrate it into skid/e-house structures, complete wiring and/or bussing, test the package, complete documentation, and prepare it for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules, manpower, priorities, and work sequencing.
• Coordinate production from equipment receipt and staging through installation, wiring/bussing, testing, packaging, and shipment.
• Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement and Quality to ensure work is ready to execute.
• Identify material, drawing, scope, and engineering issues early and drive resolution.
• Establish realistic labor requirements, production durations, and delivery commitments.
• Lead, develop, and support production personnel.
• Establish standard work, installation methods, checklists, and production controls.
• Monitor schedule, labor, quality, material availability, and production progress.
• Coordinate testing, punch lists, documentation, and final shipment readiness.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient production floor.
• Provide production input for estimating, planning, and future project execution.
• Continuously improve processes, productivity, quality, and overall workflow.

The Production Manager will participate in creating production plan based on project scope, drawings, materials schedules. It will be the production managers primary responsibility to execute and monitor the production plan to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost\Efficiency goals.

SQDC & KPI Management

Establish process execution and regular review of SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) operating system with measurable KPIs, including:

• Safety: Incidents, near misses, safety observations, and corrective actions.
• Quality: Rework, defects, punch-list items, first-pass quality, and testing issues.
• Delivery: Schedule adherence, production milestones, and on-time shipment.
• Cost: Labor hours vs. budget, productivity, overtime, and material/rework costs.
• Production KPIs: Labor hours per project, schedule variance, throughput, backlog, and production capacity.

Facility & Operations Support

During the initial growth phase, the Production Manager will also oversee selected facility activities, including:

• Production-floor organization, and space utilization.
• Facility maintenance and repair coordination.
• Production equipment, tooling, and material-handling resources.
• Safety, housekeeping, and general shop conditions.
• Coordination of facility vendors and contractors.

These responsibilities may transition to dedicated personnel as the business grows.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on production leader with experience in electrical integration, industrial equipment, modular systems, switchgear, power distribution, skid systems, e-houses, or similar environments.
