Home School Tutor (K-12) - IN HOME and IN PERSON

Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home, in-person tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our Collier County students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to kindergarten to grade 12 students. We hire only the best-certified teachers and Subject Matter Experts or those completing their degree in Education and pay higher wages than the industry average.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced in-person tutor in Bonita Springs, FL (34124) to provide academic support to a students in our area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with elementary and middle school students and have strong skills in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics.

The tutor will:

· Provide academic support based on the student's individual needs and the state curriculum.

· Develop and provide supplemental assignments to reinforce learning.

· Provide remedial and enrichment support.

· Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress.

· Create a customized approach tailored to the student's learning style and academic goals.

· Deliver engaging, one-on-one instruction in an in-person setting.

· Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34134

· Setting: In-home, one-on-one tutoring

· Primary Subjects: English Language Arts and Mathematics

· Schedule: Primarily weekday daytime hours

· Student Population: Kindergarten through Grade 12

We are looking for teachers, subject matter experts (Masters Students, PhD Students, Engineers, etc.) or soon-to-be teachers who can meet the following criteria:

· Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching

· Strong knowledge of elementary and/or middle school academics, particularly ELA and Math

· Committed to providing excellent customer service

· Enjoy working with students and families

· Great communication skills

· Ability to cater to an extensive range of learning styles

· Comfortable providing engaging, personalized instruction in an in-person environment

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

· You hold a valid Florida State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof

· You are a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate

· You have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher.

· You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College

· You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
