Responsibilities

→Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
→Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
→Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
→Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
→Maintain exams rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards. Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.

Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program Required

Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience as a MA obtained through professional MA work experience or completion of student clinical rotations. Required
Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant. Preferred

Color Discrimination - Constantly
Near Vision (Correctable to Jaeger 2 or 20/40 binocular) - Constantly
Distance Vision (Correctable to Snellen chart 20/40 binocular) - Constantly
