Responsibilities

→Performs general imaging that may include specialty imaging such as Orthopedics
→Position imaging equipment and adjust techniques as appropriate to patient body habitus
→Record, process, and maintain patient data within the electronic medical record and PACs System.
→Completes all image processing procedures and QC testing. Follows Radiologist protocols to ensure images are of diagnostic quality.
→Use radiation safety measures and protection devises to comply with government regulations to ensure the safety of patients and staff
→Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients’ understanding and address any questions or concerns
→Perform phlebotomy and basic lab testing as ordered by providers

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited or approved program in Radiological Technology Required

1-3 years Current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year current clinical experience Preferred

Hears Whispers < 3 feet - Constantly
Hears Whispers 3-8 feet - Constantly

Color Discrimination - Constantly
Near Vision (Correctable to Jaeger 2 or 20/30 binocular) - Constantly
Distance Vision (Correctable to Snellen chart 20/30 binocular) - Constantly

The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification Upon Hire Required
Radiographer License issued by the state of WI Upon Hire Required
CPR/BLS Certification-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from an approved program. Upon Hire Required
