Partner Admissions Lead
Quick Summary
The Partner Admissions Lead (PAL) is the operational leader of a dedicated “Core Team” assigned to a specific Project Kitty Hawk partner institution.
We're looking for a Partner Admissions Lead to supervise a team of Admissions Partner Specialists (APS) dedicated to one of our university partners. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves developing people, knows their way around an admissions funnel, and takes pride in being the go-to expert for a partner institution.
Lead and develop your team.
You'll directly supervise the APS team supporting your assigned partner — setting daily priorities, distributing workload, and owning team performance. Through regular one-on-ones, call reviews, pipeline audits, and honest coaching conversations, you'll help every team member grow and hold the team accountable to its goals.
Own the admissions funnel.
You'll manage your partner's enrollment pipeline end-to-end, monitoring contact rates, application completions, admit-to-start conversion, and census attendance. When the numbers dip, you'll dig into the data, diagnose the barriers, and drive the coaching and operational adjustments that get things back on track.
Be the partner expert.
You'll build deep expertise in your partner institution's admissions processes, policies, systems, and people — and become the first place your team turns with questions. You'll keep documentation current, train the team on partner-specific processes, and make sure changes reach your team fast.
Represent PKH with our partner.
You'll serve as the primary admissions subject matter expert in partner-facing meetings, prioritize and escalate student issues, and advocate internally for improvements that make the student experience better.
Support what's next.
As PKH grows, you'll help validate systems and workflows for new partner launches, ensure your team is set up for success, and collaborate across Student Success, Partnership Success, Operations, and Marketing.

- Identify at-risk students using the Risk Rating Assessment Rubric and direct APS engagement strategies accordingly.
- Review qualitative and quantitative data to recommend coaching strategies and operational adjustments that improve conversion and student progression.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in the assigned partner institution’s admissions processes, systems, people, policies, and academic requirements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the student journey and the admissions experience specific to the assigned partner.

- Train APS team members on partner-specific admissions processes, providing guidance and expertise based on institutional knowledge.
- Ensure timely communication of process changes, updates, and partner feedback to APS team members.
- Represent PKH Admissions as the primary SME in partner-facing meetings, including regular admissions, financial aid, and relevant departmental sessions.
- Attend and contribute to STITCH coordination sessions, escalating student issues and providing status updates when appropriate.
