What We Offer

- Operates all large transportation equipment including the front-end loader, overhead crane, Taylor Big Red (Forklift), Rail King, and Wheeled Material Handler (Sennebogen), to transport raw materials, finished product, and railcars during the steel pipe manufacturing process.
- Transports pipe and steel plates from the production mill, double joint racks, and coating mill from other staging areas as necessary.
- Properly stacks/un-stacks pipe for loading, double jointing, coating or repair.
- Properly stocks steel plates in designated areas.
- Exercises knowledge and safely operates equipment to include weight limits, clearances, and obey all traffic rules within the Port of Panama City.
- Performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Ensures all pipe movement is reported and documented.
- Maintain required certifications and licenses.
- Performs area housekeeping tasks.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Prior experience in operating large transposition equipment (Preferred)
- Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred)
- must be willing to work a rotating shift including days, nights and weekends
