Lecturer - Basic Science (Chemistry)

Job Description:

1. Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Chemistry, covering fundamental principles and applications.
2. Develop and deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and laboratory experiments.
3. Create and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments to align with current scientific advancements.
4. Provide academic support and guidance to students through mentoring, tutoring, and office hours.
5. Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and lab evaluations, ensuring timely feedback.
6. Stay updated on new research and advancements in Chemistry to incorporate into teaching.
7. Contribute to the development and improvement of the Chemistry curriculum and teaching methods.
8. Participate in departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and academic committees.
9. Promote a safe and effective learning environment in laboratory settings, adhering to safety protocols.
10. Engage in research activities in Chemistry and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, if applicable.
