Acute Occupational Therapist - Crewe

Contract: Temporary
Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible, weekend work may be required)

Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team in Crewe. This role involves working within an acute inpatient setting, supporting patients through their recovery journey and ensuring safe, timely discharges.

• →Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions within an acute inpatient environment.
• →Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions.
• →Contribute to admission avoidance strategies, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
• →Deliver patient-centered care, adapting to individual needs and goals.
• →Participate in weekend and extended hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), subject to discussion.

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience in acute inpatient care.
• Strong understanding of discharge pathways and admission avoidance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
