Band 3 Therapy Assistant – Standing Way

About the Role
~1 min read- Assist in the delivery of therapy programs under the supervision of qualified therapists.
- Provide support to patients during therapy sessions, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
- Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Assist with patient mobility and exercises as directed by the therapy team.
- Support patients with activities of daily living as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
Requirements

- Right to work in the UK
- Acute NHS inpatient experience, particularly in respiratory and surgical settings.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic IT skills for patient record-keeping.
- Onsite accommodation available if required at £26 - £43 per night (£370 - £470 per month).
- A 20-minute break must be deducted for every 6 hours worked.
- Breaks are not paid.
