Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Mental Health
Location: Caernarfonshire
Contract: Temporary (2 months)

Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their mental health services on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in mental health, with forensic mental health experience being highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions using both standardised and non-standardised approaches

Support patients to improve functional skills and promote independence
→
Supervise and support junior staff within the team
→
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centred care

Requirements

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
Experience working within mental health services (forensic mental health experience desirable)
Experience using standardised and non-standardised OT assessments and interventions
Experience supervising staff
Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
