Speech and language therapy

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join community teams across Shrewsbury, Telford, and Oswestry. This locum role offers a full-time schedule over 3 months, providing essential support to patients in community settings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services, with a particular focus on dysphagia management.

• →Provide assessment and intervention for patients with communication and swallowing difficulties
• →Deliver therapy across multiple community sites (Shrewsbury, Telford, Oswestry)
• →Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
• →Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards
• →Support service delivery and contribute to reducing waiting times

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)
• HCPC registration (required)
• Enhanced DBS clearance (required)
• Dysphagia competence (essential)
• Car driver preferred due to community travel requirements
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
