PLM is seeking a Director – Land to manage and refine land operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across projects. This role provides leadership within the land department, working closely with project managers, land professionals, and senior leadership to ensure high-quality execution of client work. The Director – Land will support client relationships, improve workflows, and contribute to business growth while maintaining structured oversight of land services.
  • Oversee land-related responsibilities across projects, ensuring structured and efficient workflows.
  • Support project managers and land professionals with land-related challenges, including complex negotiations.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance project execution and efficiency.
  • Conduct right-of-way research and assist in identifying potential new project areas.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices.
  • Serve as a key contact for client accounts, ensuring service quality and responsiveness.
  • Ensure client communications align with company standards and project objectives.
  • Work with business development and account management teams to support existing client relationships and identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on client projects to enhance service delivery.

  • Manage and support project managers, ensuring effective team structures and project execution.
  • Maintain consistency and alignment with company policies, workflows, and quality standards.
  • Assist with staffing efforts to ensure the right talent is in place for project needs.
  • Represent PLM in industry associations and professional settings to strengthen company presence.
  • Collaborate on efforts to expand PLM’s business beyond oil and gas by leveraging existing resources.

  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, including online accounts and advertising efforts.
  • Research and evaluate potential clients and market opportunities.
  • Support the development of promotional materials and presentations.
  • Provide input on advertising and outreach strategies to enhance business development efforts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in energy management, land management, energy commerce, or a related field preferred.
  • A law degree (J.D.) or in-house experience with an operator is a plus but not required.
