Role overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving associate. The primary responsibilities of this role include preparing shipments, receiving incoming materials, and maintaining accurate records of all outgoing and incoming goods.

Positiion Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and creating shipping labels
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information
• Inspect and verify incoming materials for quantity, quality, and specifications
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling materials and equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and other related equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Operate a forklift and other equipment as needed
