As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to address questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding software systems and applications. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques. Title: Audio/DSP engineer- Sr Exp: 3 to 6 Loc: HYD Job function: As part of Audio/DSP ISV team, need to support Qualcomm Mobile platform customer projects. Candidate should deal with the Audio feature development, customizations based on customer requirements and DSP module integration support and debugging. Skills/experience: * 3+ years of experience in embedded domain in DSP and Firmware development. * Hands-on experience in Audio Workflow, Integration of DSP Audio modules in Embedded platforms. * Hands on experience on integrating & debugging audio workflow in Realtime embedded environment is a must * Knowledge in Linux ALSA architecture/Audio drivers is a must. * Experience in optimizing the audio algorithms into DSP platforms is an added advantage. * Experience in Hexagon framework/SDK is a plus. * Good RTOS concepts, knowledge of ARM architecture. * Very good Programming experience in C/C++ , ARM assembly coding, and Debug skills. * Knowledge of audio digital signal processing is a plus. * Knowledge in ML accelerators, optimizing algorithms for hardware acceleration cores is real added advantage. * Responsibilities: The candidate will support DSP Audio Algorithm porting including framework customizations, optimizations and issues debugging, Technical Support on end-to-end use case implementation on the DSP platform. * Education requirements: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communications engineering Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
