## Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited ## Job Area: Engineering Services Group, Engineering Services Group > Support Engineering General Summary: As a Support Engineer at Qualcomm, you will significantly contribute to our Lab Operations particularly on the Lab Infrastructure, Equipments and Operations. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to analyze, anticipate and support various Lab Support Activities like M&TE requirements, Lab Infrastructure and work with engineering leads to ensure the Lab Requirements are met in timely fashion. You will interact directly with end-users and stakeholders to resolve problems, provide information to the internal team and follow up with customers to provide support. Expected to communicate via telephone, email and web-based applications across the globe to ensure the resolution of issues. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience. OR Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience. *Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience. Key Responsibility: * Provide day-to-day operational support for lab test equipment (Keysight, Tektronix, NI, LitePoint, R&S, IXIA, etc.) including basic setup, connectivity checks, and issue triage. * Assist engineers in allocating, demoing, and provisioning required test instruments for project needs. * Support software/firmware upgrades and license installation for test equipment as needed. * Assist in installation, cabling, and basic configuration of new test equipment and lab benches. * Support testbed bring-up activities for engineering teams * Make technical recommendations on the selection of new equipment and Interfacing with vendors and sales engineers comparing Specifications, Cost * Ability to work with both external and internal customers. * Using soldering iron, multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and Client simulators as needed. * Inventory management, lab space configuration, compliance audits. * Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Databases. * Engineering support including collaboration, hardware and software setup, data collection. * Maintain test stations, fixtures, and instrumentation.
