Empower Every Team to Thrive

Quantum Workplace helps leaders build thriving teams—teams that are aligned on what matters, empowered to contribute, growing through development, and valued for the work they do.

We help make that happen through a connected talent platform that gives leaders a clear view of what’s happening across their teams. With more than 20 years in the HR technology space, we’ve partnered with thousands of organizations to help leaders turn insight into action that strengthens employee connection, performance, and business outcomes.

At Quantum Workplace, our people are our greatest lever for impact. We bring grit and hustle to our work, take ownership, and focus on doing work that matters. We pair that with care and flexibility—supporting people as whole humans and making space for work that’s meaningful and sustainable. In 2026, we were a finalist for Inspiring Workplaces Awards 🥳

Check out our 2025 Employee Engagement Survey Results (yes, we use our own software):
·       97% response rate
·       82% overall favorability
·       98% favorable on the item "The people I work with treat each other with respect."
 ·      96% favorable on the item "My job gives me flexibility to meet the needs of both my work and personal life."

About the Role

~1 min read

This isn't a spec-delivery role. You'll be embedded in a product squad as a genuine thought partner — helping figure out what to build and why, not just executing on a brief. That means getting in front of real users, forming opinions on ambiguous problems, and designing everything from rough sketches to polished Figma flows. You'll bring a point of view and the curiosity to evolve it when the data says otherwise.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Own design end-to-end within your squad — from framing the problem to shipping the solution
  • Get in front of users and prospects regularly; your decisions should reflect what you heard this week, not last quarter
  • Prototype at every fidelity — whiteboard concepts when speed matters, high-fidelity Figma when detail does
  • Use AI tools to accelerate ideation and test experiences faster
  • Code responsive layouts in HTML and CSS when it closes the gap between design intent and shipped product
  • Partner closely with engineers to keep design and implementation aligned
  • Contribute to and maintain the QW Design System for a cohesive user experience
  • Give and receive direct design feedback that raises the bar for the whole team
  • 3+ years of product design experience on a software product team
  • A strong point of view — you come to the table with opinions grounded in customer insight and data, and you update them when you learn something new
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous spaces — you help frame problems, not just respond to them
  • Solid HTML and CSS skills; you can design in the browser, not just Figma
  • Advanced Figma proficiency; comfortable in XD or Sketch
  • A portfolio demonstrating web-first or desktop SaaS design
  • Demonstrated ability to measure whether your designs actually moved the needle

Nice to Have

~1 min read
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or React
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate design experimentation
  • Background in B2B SaaS or HR technology
  • You're a decision-maker on the squad, not a task executor — your input shapes what gets built
  • Real access to users and prospects; no secondhand research summaries
  • Small team means your voice carries and there's no design bureaucracy to navigate
  • Hybrid flexibility in Omaha with a team that trusts you to manage your own time
  • Room to grow into a design lead as the product and team scale
