The Capacity Planner analyzes performance data and measures the output of production to determine variance with production schedules. Utilizes the SAP Capacity Planning module to identify constraints within the facility to optimize customer lead times.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Order scheduling via Capacity Planning Tools
  2. Processes expedite requests.
  3. Maintain capacity maintenance (shift calendar, scheduled down-times and machine break-down management)
  4. Monitor monthly lead time estimates for Sales and Distribution
  5. Print out, validate, and complete SAP production orders
  6. Release orders and distribute to the shop
  7. Analyze capacity planning and provide appropriate recommendation for same.
  8. Perform analysis on all development plans for production and ensure compliance to all customer demands in facility.
  9. Prepare performance models and plan capacity effectively.
  10. Design and schedule all weekly production and ensure effective implementation of schedule.
  11. Provide assistance to analytical design of systems and forecast all resource capacity requirements.
  12. Manage all key system metrics and provide support to all ad hoc reports and dashboards.
  13. Analyze processes and identify process improvement enhancement.
  14. All other duties as assigned by leadership.
Skills:
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  2. Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
  3. Proficient in SAP
  4. Understand manufacturing processes.
  5. Strong Organizational Skills
  6. Ability to work in a Team Environment  
Experience and Education:
  1. 2- 4 years related experience.
  2. College degree preferred
Essential Physical Requirements:
  1. 20/20 vision required with or without correction.
  2. Ability to use hands, sit, stand, and or walk 100% of the workday.
  3. Ability to use a computer.
  4. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
