Housekeeping Houseperson (Part-Time - Fri/Sat/Sun)

At Best Western All Suites Inn Santa Cruz, our Housekeeping team plays a critical role in delivering exceptional stays for our guests. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Housekeeping House Person who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming hotel environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, supporting teammates, and making a visible impact on the guest experience every day.

As a Housekeeping House Person, you'll be an essential part of the Housekeeping team, helping ensure guest rooms, public areas, and supply stations are fully stocked, clean, and operating efficiently.

• Assist Room Attendants by replenishing linens, supplies, and amenities throughout the day.
• Collect and transport soiled linens from housekeeping carts and designated areas promptly.
• Ensure linen closets and storage rooms remain organized, stocked, and maintained according to hotel standards.
• Empty trash from housekeeping carts and replace liners as needed.

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and other public spaces.
• Ensure guest-facing areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
• Support overall hotel cleanliness by responding quickly to housekeeping requests and operational needs.

• Perform minor room maintenance and basic repairs as assigned.
• Complete touch-up and cosmetic maintenance to help ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and equipment issues to the appropriate department.

• Follow all housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and hotel policies.
• Work closely with Room Attendants, Supervisors, and Maintenance team members to ensure operational excellence.
• Remain alert to potential safety concerns and promptly report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the hotel positively at all times.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help create exceptional guest experiences.

• Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, maintenance, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of minor maintenance and repair tasks is a plus.
• Able to prioritize tasks and respond to changing operational needs.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move supplies and equipment throughout the workday.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business demands require.
